How to change the date format to dd/mm/yyyy in Windows XP?

Here's a simple procedure to change the date format to DD/MM/YYYY
  • Click on the Start button.
  • Click on Control Panel.
  • On the Control Panel, click on Date, Time, Language and Regional Options.
  • Click on Change the Format of Numbers, Dates and Times
  • On the Regional Options tab, click the Customize button.
  • Click the Date Tab.
  • In the Short date format combo box, enter DD/MM/YYYY.
  • Click Apply.
  • Verify your change in the Short Date Sample box. If it's correct, click OK, otherwise, go back to step 7.
