How many times have you been struck in a rather very awkward situation of accidentally deleting all the snaps from your Digital Camera (Digi Cam) or have formatted the memory card without extracting the snaps from your last vacation. Now there’s help at hand for such situations.Download a free Mac App called as Exif Untrasher which helps you easily recover accidentally deleted images or accidentally formatted images from your Digital camera’s internal memory / memory sticks / memory cards in a giffy. Currently this app supports most of the popular memory card types like Sony, SD, CompactFlash, etc
Here’s how simple it is to recover the images from your camera.
- Plugin the camera with the memory card to your Mac.
- Check if the camera memory has been properly mounted and Mac detects it.
- Run the Exif Untrasher app.
- Select a destination folder from with-in the app and Exif Untrasher will take care of the rest (recovery).
Currently this app only supports the recovery of JPG images and not other formats like Raw and also video files. But since it is free app you can’t ask for much either.
